Note: Focus should be Wifi experience as outlined earlier, not solely networking experience.

• Job Description:

  ·7+ years network engineering experience.

  Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with LAN and WAN solutions for large enterprises

  5+ years of experience with IP routing protocols Example :(BGP, OSPF) in a large enterprise environment

  Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

  Experience in writing technical documentation and network device Configurations

  Must be self-driven and able to work with little supervision and direction

  Excellent presentation skills for presenting technical designs to Senior Management

  Foundational services skills required including experience with Quality of Service and network device security

  Solid Project management skills to help drive solutions

• Preferred Skills

  CCIE Level experience

  Experience with designing large enterprise MPLS VPN Networks

  Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms

  Experience with designing large enterprise data center connectivity

  Foundational services skills required including experience with Quality of Service, Multicast

  Some working familiarity with at least one other major network technology competitor products other than Cisco

  Experience understanding of the following technologies:

• o Layer 3 functionality, including routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIP, EIGRP, HSRP

  Layer 2 functionality: Spanning Tree, VLAN trunking (802.1q), Link Aggregation, Virtual Port-Channels

  IGMP Snooping

• Expert understanding of the following technologies:

  o MPLS, OSPF, BGP, DLSW, Spanning Tree, HSRP, VPC, QoS, NTP, Multicast, IPv6 Understanding,

  Solid understanding of Network Management tools and protocols:

  HPNA, NetQoS, Infovista, Netflow, sFlow, Packet Capture, Device Configuration

  Management ,

  Capacity Planning, SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN, Packet Capturing Solutions, SNMP, IP SLA, NTP, QoS

Candidates will be a network engineering focusing on the core infrastructure that supports Xfinity WiFi at venues, stadiums, and 3rd party managed service partners.
· Support existing and new incoming Xfinity WiFi projects focused on supporting venue deployments and integration with 3rd party managed services (i.e. – xfinitywifi available at a coffee shop or department store).
· Serve as the subject matter expert on key technologies supporting the Xfinity Wi-Fi Enterprise ecosystem
· Provide technical leadership and mentoring by example to more junior team members
· Lead individual work streams in the evaluation state-of-the art solutions to maximize on technology and business applications in support of the Xfinity Wi-Fi Enterprise networks
· Work with other members of cross-functional teams, joint ventures, third party vendors and Company’s Product Managers and Marketing teams to deliver quality products, in a timely fashion, that meet defined requirements
· Assist in the creation of detailed design documents for all components of the Xfinity Wi-Fi Enterprise networks
· Participate in establishing and implementing technical standards
· Assist in the development of DevOps teams and participate as necessary in L3 support role
· Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
